Rv Refrigerator travel or storage function
I saw a video where a big rv company told everyone some misleading information about a feature on a rv refrigerator for storage purposes. It is the grey latch built into the door that is intended for use during travel so it does not open. However it can be used to keep the rv refrigerator door open during storage. Most Rvers do not even know about this feature it is kinda hidden. In the video i show how to use it for both purposes. The Rv refrigerator is a Norcold N611R. I hope this video helps everyone.
I hope you guys enjoy the video i know they are not the best quality but it is the effort that counts right? anyways safe travels and happy Rving your friend Joey

Rv Roof Reseal
One of my favorite jobs to do is to reseal a roof on any rv or travel trailer that needs it done. That being said thought id post a few photos of a recwnt job i did
As you can see the sealant is failing to hold a bond to the Rv roof and is in dire need of a reseal..
Here is another photo of the skylight after we resealed it with Dicor 501LSW this job took 6 hours total and the Dicor can be bought just about anywhere for 9.99 or less if you find a good deal online. We used a case of 12 tubes. If you have any experience with applying caulking you can most likely do this job yourself.. Just remember if the surface is not clean the dicor will not stick. If you guys want me to post a step by step guide how to do it let me know and i will post one.
The 3 ways to tow your car behind your Rv
Ther 3 very Common Methods of towing your vehicle behind your Rv. The One that is suited the best for you will depend on your Situation.
#1 your first option is to travel with your vehicle on a flatbed trailer or an enclosed trailer if you prefer. You will want to make sure that the trailer you pick will support your tow vehicle that you decide to use or already have.
The main Advantage of Using a flatbed or enclosed trailer is the fact that you will not be adding any uneccessary miles to your vehicle. Another Advantage being that you can load and go pretty much any car you please as long as the trailer is rated for the weight of the vehicle you are choosing to take with you..
The biggest Disadvantage Of A trailer or enclosed trailer is the actual intial Purchase price of the trailer or the enclosed trailer. Being that It is a Depreciating Asset And they dont come cheap as well as the effect it will have on the mileage of the Rv After All Fuel does not come cheap these days. I found that this was not very practical for any of my customers that went down this route as an option And some of them came back later to go with the obvious choice which will be explained later..
#2 The second method is to Tow Your Car With all 4 wheels on the ground this is the most common way to tow a car behind an Rv. And this is also what everyone ends up going to after using a trailer for a period of time.
A basic tow package would include
1 Tow bar
1 bracket
1 combo kit
manufactures we reccomend for products Roadmaster In and Blue Ox
#3 the third option is you can use a Tow Dolly Now If we are being honest this is the most inconvienet way in our opinion but manufactures still sell them.

Rv Refrigerator Wont Stay Lit
Hey Guys Real Quick Here if you have a Dometic or Norcold Rv Refrigerator and have problems with it staying lit the first thing you should be checking is that the burner is not covered with foreign debris before you hire someone follow my step by step to see if i can save you some money
Step 1: Remove the Vent Cover on the exterior of the Rv
Step: 2 The Burner has a little tiny sliding metal piece moves back and forth with some effort sometimes it has a small screw in it remove the screw and open it so you can see in the burner
you might need a flashlight..
Step 3: take compressed air and blow out the burner keep in mind the unit should not be turned on at this point after blowing it out for a few minutes go and turn on the refer and see if it fixed your problem...

The Practice of towing a car behind a motor home is still the most convenient way For Rvers to get around.. Rather then unhooking your Rv from the camp site you can simply unhook your towed cars set up..
Question 1: What do I Need to Flat tow behind a Rv ?
Answer: This question can be answered several different ways lets answer it the simplest way we can tho.. You Will First need to make sure your car is Flat towing capable with all four wheels on the ground, Check your owners manual..
then you need to decide which company you will go with We Recommend the Following companies
Roadmaster Inc
Blue Ox
Now lets say you went with Roadmaster and you have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler That you Want to Tow here is everything you need to tow that particular car.. we are going to build a package on a budget cause we all like to save money
We would use a Falcon 2 Tow bar a 1432-1 Roadmaster Mounting bracket and a Invisibrake 8700 for the braking system. And a Falcon Tow Bar combo Kit Combo kit includes: Wiring kit with 4 Hy-Power Diodes Marine grade vinyl tow bar cover Flexo-Coil or straight power cord 1 pair of 6,000 lb capacity safety cables 2 keyed alike padlocks A bracket to mount the power cord socket Marine grade vinyl storage bag to store accessories.. Ok So now We have everything we need to tow but we must first have it installed .
picking a Roadmaster Dealer to Purchase or Install your Tow package
Good news if you go to Roadmaster's Website they have a dealer search section..
If you choose to install it yourself follow all the instruction very carefully..
Ok so now Our Jeep is all set up and ready to go on its first adventure..
we recommend that when you hook your Tow Car up the first time and every time after that you use a check sheet or checkoff list..
this will prevent you from missing anything so take notes and pay attention to the dealer or installer when they are giving you a demo.
So in conclusion here is a list of what we think you will need to flat tow based on our experience
