Atwood 8535IV Not Turning on

Today's Job Was on a Atwood 8535IV Furnace.

Complaint: Customer stated Furnace was not turning on and would just click.

Diagnosis I found that the Control Board on the Atwood Furnace was not sending Power to the Blower Motor Which will not allow anything to turn on due to the Sail Switch not activating..

Solution And Fix We Replaced the Control board on the Furnace Tested furnace and it turned right on..

Now how i came to this conclusion is easy. I took a Volt meter and tested the Power wires. If you follow one of the red wires to the fan motor you will know whuch one to check for power..

It is a red wire using the on off switch inside the furnace I turned it on then checked for voltage on the wire and had nothing. you can also use a Test light if you prefer. And just poke the wire to see if it lights up.. That being said if it had power I would know that either the wire was loose which is the first thing i check or it had a bad blower motor. Hope this Helps someone Somewhere Please comment below and subscribe to my blog I dont have many Followers :( but one day I think that will change.. Thanks for reading and happy travels.
