Oil Prices Today

Oil Prices Today And what it means for the Rv Industry..

So As we all know Oil Prices Continue to Slide Day after Day it seems, But what does that have to do with the Rv Industry you ask?

Well it has a'lot to do with the Rv Industry when oil prices are low fuel prices tend to follow the same pattern..

What does the Low Oil Price mean for the Rv Industry?

Well It will help the Rv industry grow believe it or not it will increase sales and travel.

The effect is limitless when more people jump in there Rv and Travel there is more money spent in local economies where otherwise the cash might not be spent there if prices were high.

Now the flip side to low oil prices is that some people who own Rv's Obtained there wealth from the Oil Industry so they are bleeding cash everyday in the stock market if the are still invested.

The reason I bring this up is because I believe we will see below $2.00 a Gallon Very Soon And once that happens The Rv Park's And Resorts Will Fill up making it harder to get a reservation.

making it harder to get your Rv Serviced or repaired. So plan Ahead for your future travel plans what was once very Available yesterday is now a little harder to get into.

Also Enjoy the Cheaper Prices while they last because you know what they say here today gone tomorrow when it comes to a good price on Fuel...

Also if you are maybe looking to make a little extra cash from the Low oil Prices Have you seen how low some of the big Oil companies have become in cost per share Example being CVX Chevron Corporation Currently today Traded at $87.64 Compared to $133.00 In June of 2014 When the Price of oil was higher. Nobody knows where the Bottom is but It can be fun to predict...

So I will leave you with this Next time you stop for Fuel And Say Fill er Up Remember to thank Opec For trying to Regain its market share and giving you the gift of cheaper Fuel..

Rv InSpection 2005 Kodiak Rv

So Today I did a Rv Inspection well started one. Will have to finish it tomorrow.
But customer said her Carbon monoixide alarm would not stop going off. It is the one hardwired to the batteries. She was not plugged in the Rv only has one battery and needs two. I put two batteries in it and no more carbon monoxide alarm. They can go off when the voltage is low. However if it is going off it is better to be safe than sorry. Always Go to fresh Air and Always Have it looked at..

While performing the rest of the inspection found out the Plumbing had froze up from the recent cold weather.. So Now I am Repairing all the Broken Water Lines in the Rv.

There were several other little things but mostly all easy to simple fixes that wont even make it onto the customer's bill.. Once I am all done Since the customer is relatively new to Rving I will be Doing a Full Walk around with her on her Rv so she better understands all the functions of her coach..

Till next time Safe travels Everyone.. Please Subscribe and comment below.

Magnum MS 2812 Not Working Properly Fault code

So Today I fixed a Magnum MS2812 It Was in a Fault code lock out. So Customer said it showed 135 for the fault code. I talked to magnum Energy Tech Support because I have never heard of such a code. He informed me that it was internal data and that I should not be seeing it. So he then told me how to fix it. Here is how I did it..

Step 1 make sure you are on DC power only.

step 2 Remove controller from wall

step 3 Unplug the data cable from the controller.

step 4 on the Inverter there is a power button Hold it till the green light flashes rapidly then release

step 5 Inverter should be off because it Reset itself.

Step 6 go inside the coach and plug the controller back in

step 7 turn the inverter on

step 8 check to see if the unit is working and no longer in fault mode..

step 9 your done if it is working..

Note if your still having the same error you can hard reset your inverter by unhooking the 12 volt dc and waiting for 10 minutes. make sure everything is unplugged when you do this including the shore power the controller and all inverter's should be off.

Atwood 8535IV Not Turning on

Today's Job Was on a Atwood 8535IV Furnace.

Complaint: Customer stated Furnace was not turning on and would just click.

Diagnosis I found that the Control Board on the Atwood Furnace was not sending Power to the Blower Motor Which will not allow anything to turn on due to the Sail Switch not activating..

Solution And Fix We Replaced the Control board on the Furnace Tested furnace and it turned right on..

Now how i came to this conclusion is easy. I took a Volt meter and tested the Power wires. If you follow one of the red wires to the fan motor you will know whuch one to check for power..

It is a red wire using the on off switch inside the furnace I turned it on then checked for voltage on the wire and had nothing. you can also use a Test light if you prefer. And just poke the wire to see if it lights up.. That being said if it had power I would know that either the wire was loose which is the first thing i check or it had a bad blower motor. Hope this Helps someone Somewhere Please comment below and subscribe to my blog I dont have many Followers :( but one day I think that will change.. Thanks for reading and happy travels.
